What are the intentions of the Mass?
Since the eleventh century, the practice in the Church at Masses has been extended to be celebrated by intentions. Normally these intentions are for loved ones who have died, Masses are offered for them in our prayer for God, in His Divine Providence, to receive them in His Celestial Kingdom. Masses of intentions can also be identified as “special intentions” for people still alive, praying in form
Specific to the wishes and needs of that person. Intentions during the Masses provide a special way to pray for our deceased loved ones or for other special purposes.
For an intention at Mass, the following is required:
– Go to the office to register the name of the person in the intention. Please sign up early as space is limited.
– The donation is $ 10.00 per person mentioned.
Petitions
For it has provided the prayer of faith, with which we accede before Him to ask and beg. The result must be left in His hands, for He knows what is good for us. Prayer Requests We are dedicated to helping all those who so rightly choose to turn to God to help them in their needs.
For a Petition, the following are required:
– For a petition, on the day of the Mass, write down the name of the person or need at least half an hour before Mass in the petitions book.
– The donation is the will of each person during the collection.
