“Raising the Doors of the Guadalupano Heart!”


This year we will begin the construction of a new entrance to the Shrine. An entry that will announce that you have arrived at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe where all the pilgrims who seek all the Love, Protection and Shelter that the Blessed Virgin offered to Saint Juan Diego are received with love and respect. The design of the new entrance will resonate with colonial structures, architecture used in many towns around the world and offers a soft and welcoming view. The new entrance will be significantly higher to give the feeling of welcome and to embrace pilgrims of all races, languages and history of faith. In truth, this project achieves: “Raising the Doors of the Guadalupano Heart!” I hope to God that everyone can help us to achieve this important stage in the history of the Shrine.
