The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe would like to cordially invite you to a very special pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. Fr. Manuel Padilla, Vice Rector of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines will be heading this amazing experience. We will also be traveling around the vicinity of Mexico City visiting other important shrines that foster a great devotion to Our Lady and Our Lord Jesus Christ. We will also be visiting various archeological sites pertaining to the history of Mexico, the European Conquest, the various indigenous people e.g. the Mexica and how the Guadalupe event helped give “the peoples of this land” open to the Lord Jesus whom Our Lady was carrying in her womb to Juan Diego.
